Three ways to explore
The platform caters to the needs of a variety of audiences and gives them different ways to view the platform on any device with internet connection:
  • Careers Infoverse: Displays companies and their opportunities in a list format
  • Careers Galaxy: An interactive 3D gaming environment where you can explore the 27 industry sectors and their businesses on a PC or download the app
  • Careers Orbit: A carousel of the 27 different sectors, with highlights that showcase specific opportunities
All options draw from the same business information, ensuring consistency, and all platforms can link traffic back to the business’ website.
Explorers search through your profiles to find careers information, discover what industry sectors inspire them and see if the business has any opportunities available.

How does the platform work?
When a business registers on the platform, they will complete five sections:
  • 1. Logo, website and sector(s)
  • 2. About us
  • 3. Employee profiles
  • 4. Gallery
  • 5. Opportunities

Profile Completion
It’s important that business profiles are different and interesting, however, we appreciate how valuable your time is, therefore, we have made profiles simple and easy to complete.
Business have complete admin control of their profiles. However, they will only be enabled to publish once 70% of their profile is complete. This is so that career explorers can access plenty of quality information.

Digital Courses
We have partnered with iDEA, the Duke of York’s Digital Skills programme that helps people of all ages develop digital, enterprise and employability skills through online courses.
iDEA is a free resource available for all ages to help improve and enhance their skills. Your employees can access this wide variety of courses via the platform.

Career DNA matcher
Businesses’ employees and Explorers complete a short questionnaire from 16 Personalities to discover their personality type. Explorers will then be able to see what job roles they are compatible with based on matched questionnaire results.

Which schools using the platform are near me?
You can see which schools near you are using the platform by selecting a radius within which to search. Schools within that area will be highlighted.
